About Dinosaur Museum Branson
Travel 90 Million Years in just a few steps! Take your vacation back in time and visit life sized dinosaur replicas, dig for fossils, and even get a scare! Over 50 life-sized dinosaurs are displayed, from the very smallest creature – a 1-foot microraptor to the towering 42-foot tyrannosaurus rex that stands about two stories high. The models were made by paleo-artists who fashioned molds from the original dinosaur skeletons and then created the bodies.

The Branson Dinosaur Museum is designed with the young (and young-at-heart) in mind! Who doesn’t love dinosaurs? This museum brings them up-close-and-personal…from the small, four-winged microrapter; a dinosaur that measured only one-foot-tall, and was the most abundant of non-bird dinosaurs…to everyone’s favorite, the enormous tyrannosaurus rex, fondly referred to as T Rex; a beast with a massive skull, balanced by a long, heavy tail.
These carefully constructed creatures are so exquisitely detailed; you’ll expect them to come to life at any moment! That detail is possible courtesy of talented paleoartists who used actual dinosaur bones to mold their incredible bodies. And, you can spend as much time as you wish with your prehistoric friends; tours of the “Branson Dinosaur Museum” are self-guided! Each dinosaur is displayed with descriptive details to help answer your questions about their habits, the definition of their name, and more; it’s the perfect opportunity to learn how incredibly different they are in many ways from today’s animals, yet how remarkably similar they are in others.
You’ll discover plant-eating dinosaurs – herbivores, and meat-eating animals – carnivores; this is just a small ‘taste’ of what your family can learn at the Branson Dinosaur Museum!
