Check-in for your Umauma Experience adventure begins at their Visitor Center. Refreshments and snacks are available at the cafe, with a full espresso and coffee bar. Browse their selection of gifts and apparel in the gift shop. Soak in beautiful views from the Visitor Center’s back lanai of the Umauma River and zipline. For your convenience, they have private bathrooms and showers so you can clean up and get changed before or after your tour if needed. Safety Comes First! their guides will help you fit your gear and brief you before each experience. These ziplines feature a dual braking system for your safety.
The primary system is a manual friction system that allows the guides more control over the stopping distance and location for each guest; and the secondary system is the ZipSTOP automatic braking system, which engages and assists the stopping effort for each guest. Both systems are connected to the same brake trolley, allowing for a safe, consistent, integrated braking system. Their ATV tours start with a tutorial and lap around the practice track to ensure you feel confident driving or riding. On each tour, their knowledgeable guides will walk you through the process and give you any extra assistance that you require.
Good To Know
- Arrive 30 minutes prior to your Umauma Experience tour time.
- All guests are required to wear a face covering (face mask, bandanna, face gaiter, etc.) during check-in and when social distancing is not possible. Children under 5 years old are not required to wear a mask. We highly recommend guests bring their own face covering as we may not have enough supplies to accommodate all guests.
- Our tour runs rain or shine. We have rain shelters at each platform for the comfort of each guest.
- To ensure a safe but fun experience we have weight limits of 35 pounds to 275 pounds, no more or no less.
- Children 13 years and older can go on the Zipline tour on their own if a parent or guardian remains on the property until that tour is complete. If a child gets nervous or scared and wants to ride with an adult, they have the option to ride tandem with one of our trained tour guides.
