The Southern Food & Beverage Museum is a nonprofit educational and cultural organization in New Orleans dedicated to the discovery, understanding, and celebration of food, drink, and its related culture and folklife in America and the world. The Southern Food and Beverage Museum is home to several entities: The Museum of the American Cocktail (MOTAC), the John & Bonnie Boyd Hospitality & Culinary Library, and the Nitty Grits Podcast Network. SoFAB continues to grow into the nation’s most comprehensive cultural institution studying food and drink.

This living history and food wonderland give guests an in-depth look at the roots of Southern food culture. Admission gets you into both the food museum as well as the museums of the American Cocktail and La Galerie de l’Absinthe, which showcases the Absinthe collection of Raymond Bordelon and the storied history of the “green fairy” itself.
