This outrageous musical comedy follows the misadventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries, sent halfway across the world to spread the Good Word. One serious and dedicated and the other socially awkward yet well meaning, these Mormons are sent to Uganda to convert citizens to the Mormon religion.
When they arrive in Africa, the missionaries find a community grappling with poverty, AIDS and violence. Entertainment Weekly says The Book of Mormon is “the funniest musical of all time,” and Jon Stewart of The Daily Show declares it’s “a crowning achievement, so good it makes me angry.” This show is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Parental advisory: Contains explicit language. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.
