Sea Life Michigan
By sharing the wonder and beauty of our oceans, we hope you’ll learn to love them as much as we do. Sea Life Michigan allows visitors to experience the ocean’s hidden marvels, and our expert staff are dedicated to, and passionate about sharing their message of conservation. In keeping with our message – BREED, RESCUE, PROTECT – we’ve developed a system of care and best-practice animal husbandry that draws on decades of collective experience from our marine biologists.
As part of our local commitment to protecting marine habitats and creatures, we have partnered with three incredible organizations: the Clinton River Watershed Council, Oakland County Parks and Friends of the Detroit River. In 2015, SEA LIFE Michigan helped to remove over 15,000 lbs of garbage from local streams, rivers and lakes. Sea Life Michigan’s nearly $1 million-dollar new exhibit takes children and families on an interactive journey through one of the state’s most important waterways, and is now open to the public.
