More Information on Queen
Since its maiden voyage in 1936, The Queen Mary has transported iconic figures from Winston Churchill to Fred Astaire across the ocean blue, and it even helped transport troops during World War II. Now at home in the Port of Long Beach, the venerable ship pairs art-deco trappings with stunning Pacific Ocean views.
The onboard hotel recreates transoceanic luxury in her 346 staterooms (which include 9 full suites). Guests here often make multiple trips to onsite restaurants, such as the award-winning Sir Winston’s and Chelsea Chowder House & Bar, as well as appearances at the weekly Champagne Sunday Brunch served in the ship’s Grand Salon.
On arrival at the Queen Mary, proceed to the onsite box office, to be booked on the guided tour (included in admission price) and receive complimentary guide maps. Please Note: Due to the historic nature of the vessel, not all areas are easily accessible by guests with mobility issues. The Diana Exhibit is fully accessible; most other tours and exhibits require extensive use of stairs.
