Our museum contains life-sized replicas, touch-screen kiosks, film montages, and various games enjoyed by all ages. We even have a fully functioning small-ball bowling lane. Explore the inventors, innovators, and perfecters of the game of bowling. From the ancient Egyptians to British monarchs to an enterprising German immigrant, follow the sport’s journey from archeological digs to American taverns to the first American bowling “alley.”

Good To Know: Health and Safety Information

  • Our new hours are Tuesday through Friday 9:30am to 5pm; call for availability for our weekend hours.
  • Museum visitation for groups of 10 or over must make an appointment. Groups may schedule a visit by phone (817) 385-8476 within the new visiting hours. Last entry is at 4:00pm.
  • If you are not feeling well, please come visit us another time.
  • We monitor all guidelines and updates from the CDC, WHO, and Tarrant County Health Department for your safety.
  • Staff enacts frequent disinfection of often-used surfaces such as doors, handles, faucets, light switches, restrooms, kitchens, elevators and museum-touch screens.
