After your pick-up, make your way past the iconic Diamond Head Crater and experience breathtaking views of the the crystal blue ocean and Diamond Head Lighthouse before driving along Kahala Avenue, known as Hawaii’s “Rodeo Drive” with multi-million dollar beach front homes. Stop at Hanauma Bay lookout and enjoy spectacular views of one of Hawaii’s most iconic sights. (Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)
Made over the course of millions of years, the Halona Blowhole is an ancient lava tube located perfectly on the eastern coast of Oahu, and when the waves come in, gasp in awe as the lava tube propels jets of water high into the sky. This is a great photo and video taking opportunity! The local town of Waimanalo is well-known throughout Hawaii for its many plant and flower nurseries, and after a quick jaunt through the area, your expert guide will regale you with tales of ancient Hawaii as you head to the Nuuanu Pali Lookout, the site of ancient battles and now, amazing views.
Located within the Valley of the Temples, the Byodo-In Temple is a picturesque and serene example of an authentic Japanese temples built to commemorate the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. As you depart, you will also be able to see the iconic Chinaman’s Hat located off the island’s east shore. Stop for lunch at Kualoa Ranch. Used as the backdrop for a number of Hollywood movies and t.v. shows, the Ranch offers incredible views. You are always welcome to come back on another day to experience their many tours and activities as well.
The town of Laie is home to one of the largest Mormon temples in the world, and also one of the most beautiful. After driving past, make your way along the many North Shore beaches like the famous Pipeline, and see surfers riding some of the best waves found anywhere! You will have around 20 minutes to explore the area, and stretch your legs, and take this opportunity to try the ever popular Dole Whip, snag a few souvenirs to bring home, and even try to make your way through the largest outdoor maze in the world (additional fees apply).
