On their Secret Food Tour: Philadelphia, you’ll be led through the busy streets of Philly for a mouth-watering three-hour urban gastronomy tour in the central and historic areas of the ‘City of Brotherly Love’. You’ll get to try an innovative twist on the soft pretzel, the pretzel Philly cheesesteak made with ingredients sourced from vendors in the Reading Terminal Market. We’ll also try an amazing Malaysian dish in Chinatown.
You will travel to the heart of the Emerald Isle, too; plus, there will be two sweet treats; one will be a life-changing Pennsylvania Dutch, plus the Secret Dish, which will only be revealed on tour. Water will be served at some stops; however, if you would like more, a thoughtfully curated Upgraded Drinks Package is available.

First, you’ll taste and see the diversity of gastronomy in the expansive market, where you’ll taste deliciously warm spiced apple dumplings topped with fresh whipped cream from an Amish-owned vendor. Next, you’ll discover the influence of other cultures in Philly as we walk through the Friendship Arch in Chinatown and enjoy an authentic Malaysian dish called Nasi Lemak, a serving of fragrant, mildly spicy curry chicken accompanied with coconut sticky rice, and flavorful condiments.
After that, we will make our way to an iconic Irish tavern, where we will stop to try a dish that’s been made the same way since the 1860s. From there, we will make our way back to the lovely Reading Terminal Market to try a sourdough soft pretzel topped with aromatic fennel seeds with an innovative twist on a Philadelphia favorite from a local artisanal bakery. As with all our tours, there’s our delicious Secret Dish.
